You can’t go wrong with these fantastic brownies. They were a hit!
The big move happened this weekend. We are so excited to be in such a nice place of our own and stay in the area that we love! It is so much work moving. I absolutely hate it. But pregnant and moving. That is a who different story. The night before the move, my back had gone out and I had to crawl up the stairs at one point. Lucky for me I could use the pregnancy card during the big move and say that I couldn’t lift anything. But still. So much work. There is no better way to do spring cleaning then to move!
Let’s talk about these brownies though. Ok really there is no talking about them. They speak for themselves. 🙂 I really liked the brownie base in these brownies. They weren’t too fudgy and they didn’t make the frosting too rich on top of them. They were the perfect balance. The cookie dough frosting on top was AMAZING. And no raw eggs were involved in the making of it! You can’t go wrong with these fantastic brownies. They were a hit!

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Set aside. In a medium sized mixing bowl combine the melted butter and brown sugar and sugar. Mix until combined. Add the eggs and vanilla. Then add the dry ingredients and mix well until incorporated.
Spread in a greased 9x13 inch pan. I always line my pan with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray so that they can life out easily. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes clean. Let cool completely before frosting.
To make the cookie dough frosting: Beat together the softened butter and sugar. Add in the vanilla until mixed well. Add flour and salt. Stir in the milk and beat until the frosting is fluffy. Stir in the chocolate chips. Spread the frosting carefully on cooled brownies.
